My journey with the mystical began at age 19, inside a dusty old bookshop on Leith Walk, Edinburgh, where I bought my very first Tarot deck. Then , at 22, what started at a humble stall in Camden Market quickly evolved into a lifelong calling.
Over the last three decades, the cards and the stars have taken me around the world, allowing me to share my insights across global stages, high-profile events, and national media.
From reading backstage for the staff and talent at Pop Idol and The X Factor to reading at the official afterparty for The Who at the O2 Arena, I’ve had the privilege of guiding rockstars, household celebrities, and everyday seekers alike.
My work has even taken me into royal circles, where I had the absolute honour of reading Tarot for guests at a birthday party for a member of the British Royal Family for several years .
My insights have been positively reviewed in The Guardian, featured on the BBC (Three Counties, Scotland, and Asian Network), and published in Glamour Magazine.
For several years, I’ve also proudly served as the resident Tarot reader for the Childline Charity Ball.
But my practice is rooted in something much deeper than entertainment—it is rooted in transformation.
As a practicing Nichiren Buddhist for over 30 years, I used these ancient philosophies to channel a fiery Celtic temperament into a profound sense of inner calm. I dedicated decades to healing myself so that I could effectively work to heal others.
While I spent 30 years practicing holistic therapies, my deep love for Astrology eventually took center stage.
For many years, I read the Tarot from home while raising my sons as a single mum.
Today, I live in Bedfordshire with my husband Cedric (a fellow Buddhist), my parents, and our cat, Ginger.
Together, Cedric and I raised four incredible teenagers—meaning I grew two children in my womb and two in my heart.
When I am not diving deep into cosmic charts or pulling Tarot cards, I follow my other great passion: music, regularly performing as the lead singer for several local bands.

Her great-grandmother was a renowned Psychic Medium in Portobello, and her grandfather was a dedicated Tarot reader. Today, with over 37 years of experience, Alix carries this ancestral torch forward, blending uncanny accuracy with a lifetime of spiritual mastery.

While Alix has been self-taught in Astrology for over 37 years, 2025 marked a pivotal transition in her practice. After intensive training with the Debra Silverman Astrology School, Alix now specializes in a unique method that merges Psychology with Astrology.
